Who NeedS PF Registration

For Employee
"Employees whose salary is less than ₹15,000 per month are mandatorily required to be members of the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF). However, employees earning more than ₹15,000 in basic salary, along with their employers, can continue their PF contributions with mutual consent."
"Employees earning more than ₹15,000 can also choose to contribute based on the ₹15,000 limit or they can contribute based on their entire basic salary (Basic + DA), but this depends on the employer's agreement."

"The standard Provident Fund (PF) contribution is 12% of the employee's basic salary plus dearnessallowance and retaining allowance. Both the employer and employee contribute this 12% rate. Of the employer's 12% share, 8.33% goes to the Pension Fund and 3.67% to the Provident Fund . "
